predatory conchs?

I have 2 fighting conchs in my 75g. On at least 4 occasions I've seen them eating my astrea snails. Are they eating snails that couldn't right themselves and died, or are they killing them?

fighting conchs are omnivorous and are probably not being supplemented with additional food for their diet. finding the astrea snails to be an easy prey (and tasty)
