Prep & cleaning tips?

Y last fw fish just died and my parents are giving me the money to build my 37g reef for christmas so ill start in early december so hopefully i can have at least my cuc in there b4 christmas wen my fam comes ovr anyway i want to know if i empty my tank now will anything get like moldy or sumthing and any tips for wen and how to clean would be helpfull !!!!!!!

I've heard to scrub the daylights out of it using a vinegar and water solution.

Yah thats wut i heard but if i do that now will my tank,heater,and filter get moldy?

They shouldn't just dry everything off real well.
