So, I bought 50lbs of "bowl" lace rock from my LFS. It is cool looking dry/dead rock. I want to prepare it for placement in to my 60Gal Marine tank. I was told that it has already been steam sterilized.

I was planning on scrubbing it dry with a wire brush to get off the old dirt, dust, moss, etc. and then wet scrubbing. Once it is clean I would then soak it in SW overnight before placing it in the tank. How does that sound? The goal is to add LR to this later and have it seed the base rock.

sounds like you got it all planned out right...
I wouldn't do anything different...
Add the rock then the sand then water and you'll be set !

Good luck !
