This for anyone out there who has or has used the prizm skimmer. I just put one on my 20 gallon long tank and I know it needs a break in period. My question is where in the reaction chamber should I try to keep the water line? The manual says just below the o-ring. Is this the bottom o-ring where the collection cup attaches or the upper one just where the funnel of the reaction chamber starts? Thanks for any help, this is my first skimmer ever.

The water line should be so you can remove the collection cup and water will not spill out of the unit.

I like to run mine just below the opening that the collection cup sits on.

I have this skimmer on two of my tanks . I had trouble setting it myself . It took me at least 2 weeks but they work great now . on my 10gal its below the ring and my 55 its a little higher .

I needed a couple of weeks with mine also before I had the level set right. Now I run it even with the O-ring and it is working great.
