Protein skimmer

I broke a piece on my protein skimmer. It is a piece that will be in my tank. Can I hot glue it? I don't know if the hot glue will contaminate the water.

I'd recommend just using super glue gel... it will hold better.

You should look into the weld on products for acrylic.
