Know this subject keeps on going around and around but I need help!

I have a Juwel 300 (300 litre/80 gallons) and bought the Juwel skimmer. After months of trying to get rid of micro bubbles I drilled my tank and installed a small 50 litre sump. After treating for cyno, the skimmer started playing up and now I have an algeal garden instead of a fish tank. I am keeping the stock small (yellow tang, bi-coloured blenny and a blue-green chromis) with a few turbo snails and red legged hermits.

The algae has now blocked the skimmer and I am on my last legs. Whilst my readings are low I am convniced that a good skimmer will solve many of my problems.

So - with the size of my tank what is the BEST skimmer to buy - mid to upper range in price?

Thanks for the help - you will be saving my tank from a heavy hammer.

Blue legged hermits and get a
Lot of them, don't over feed, and a GFO reactor. Little fishes is a good one.
