***Public Service Announcment***

Hey all, check your rubbermaid tubs. I was preparing water for a water change yesterday. Got 20gal of SW all mixed up and put in my rubbermaid. I added the powerhead and the heater...then it happened...as I was pushing the heater's suction cups to the inside of the container it cracked. About 5gals of SW went rushing out onto the carpet. My wife and I grabbed the tub and hauled it our to the patio, loosing another 5gal in the process. I have been using this tub for over two years and I guess it just became brittle and weak. I was able to salvage the other 10gals to a new tub but used the last of my salt mix doing the first batch. Short story long...replace your rubbermaid every year or so.

Good info Lando! Will do.

On a side note: I mixed up 25g in a 30g rubbermaid tub yesterday and placed it on one of those kiddie tables like I have done many times. You know the ones with the big legs, anyway, I placed the salt bucket in front of it just to have it near when I needed it. I went back in and just happened to notice that the whole table was folding up and falling forward and the only thing that saved it was that bucket of salt...whew....
