2 quesitons?

#1 Hey does anyone know why my pump will blow out air bubbles into the tank?

It will run fine and then all of a sudden it will blow out tiny air bubbles. There is enough air bubbles to make the tank look cloudy.

I can't find any pin holes in the tubing and can't find any reason for it to do this.

What can I do to stop this?? It is driving me crazy!

#2 Do I need to clean the tubing of the skimmer. I clean the collection cup every week, but don't know if I should clean out the main cylinder.

1) what kind of pump? I had this problem w/ a maxi-jet, just took it apart, gave it a good cleaning, and it was fine.
2) I would say no, don't clean the main cylinder b/c then you'll have to go through a break-in period all over again. (unless it is absolutly neccesary...dumping gunk into the tank, etc. don't worry about the way it looks.)
