Pump problems

Does anyone know where parts for a Hydrothruster pump can be found? Mine locks up occasionally...there seems to be some wear on the shaft. It looks to be made of ceramic so I don't think I can repair the one I have. I have searched the web and made some calls, but have come up zeros so far. Appreciate any help with this.

I found an old board that said a hydrothruster could be had at Superior Aquatic Technology, P.O.Box 1047, Camarillo, CA, 93011, phone 800-477-8515.
Drs. Foster & Smith used to carry them, maybe they can give you the manufacturers #. Another board said they were made by Filtronics but I couldn't verify that.

Good luck.

Thanks...I'll check on that. I did look at the Filtronics site, but it was all industrial stuff.

I would place some phome calls to Filtronics and the other two sites I mentioned. I call industrial vendors all the time as part of my job. When calling an industrial supply company that doesn't do retail, act professional and you should be able to contact someone from the tech dept. Sometimes the gal answering the phone wants to know what company you are with. wing it. Good luck. Hope all your leg work pays off.
