Overflow works just like vacuuming/siphoning the gravel. Prime it and it will "siphon" the water to your sump. And just like the gravel vacuum/siphon, get a shot of air and it will stop (but the sump pump keeps going......and going....) 8O

Now that I understand. Thought it was something like that but like I said I don't have the overflow yet so I wasn't sure. Thank you so very much. and you too Steve for trying to pry the blinders off.
