Question QT Question

I've had my Salt Water tank for a little while and never had a QT and just learned about them. Now I am DEFINATLEY getting one. Some questions though:
Do you need live rock in them?
How big should they be?

Thanks!

QT size depends on your system and the animals you plan to keep. In general, I'd say a 20g will suffice or an additional 40g for larger fish or abundant orders. I would only use lr to seed the qt.
