I took the canister filter flose from my main tank that is fully cycled and put it on the HOB filter on my qt. Will this make the QT fully cycled already so i can get fish???? How can i test it?

Put a large serving of fish food, or a raw shrimp from the grocery store in QT, and monitor your ammonia, nitrite and nitrate levels for a week. If ammonia and nitrite stay at 0 and nitrate goes up, you're cycled.
The floss is likely to shorten your cycle, but most likely you will still see ammonia and/or nitrite levels climb. They need to return to 0 before the tank is cycled.
