QT tank

Alright, I have a royal gramma and a porcupine puffer coming this week.

I have an established 29 gal tank with about 5 hithhiker crabs in it and would like to use that as a QT. See any problems? Would the gramma stressed too much with these tank mates? If I have to use meds or anything, I know new housing will be needed.

My crabs had fish mates before but they were a little smaller then. I have a filter pad in my sump(been there a few weeks) and a 10 gal if needed but the 29 would be easiest. I also have a spare 20 gal but it would need some cleaning.

Thanks

Thats cool.

I just worried about the evil crabs that are in the 29.

I fish, shrimp and ricordia should be here tomorrow. After reading saltwaterfish.coms website, the fish might be pretty inactive and lay on the bottom in shock. Should I get some specimen containers so the crabs won't bother them.

I guess they should not bother them but these crabs will come after my finger if I put it up to the glass.

I have a royal gramma and a porcupine puffer that will be sharing this QT. Does this sound OK or should I separate them?

Any thoughts?
