qt tank

i have a 5 gal eclipe tank from when i had my betta .
could i use that as a qt tank for a week or two ?
i plan to get either blue damsels or true perc clowns
no more than 2 at a time.

I wouldn't recommend anything smaller than 10g QT for 1 fish. For 2 fish a 15g would be better.

Remember to give the fish a place to hide. You can use pvc pipe. Also If you would like to keep it set up seed it with filter media from the main tank.
