Question about snails

are they able to breath air in both the water and on land?

is there any way to pull them off some thing with out killing them?

not sure about breathing but some will come out of the water !! but then come back down when the light go out !! think it a way not to become food !! as for pulling them off i found it best to twist them back and forth a few times just alittle mabe 1/16th of an inch if that !! do that like 3 times back and forth and they let go!!

ok thanks. they just found out about the over flow on the back of my tank and i do not need 3 dead turbos
