Question on pulsing xenia

A few days ago, I noticed this piece coming off of my Xenia's main stalk.It is if it was "leaking" a another stalk from the main. Is this it's method of reproducing?

Actually it looks like it is "moving" My stalks move and leave behind another. It is the first of many more to come!

These will multiply to the point where you will be throwing them away. Don't let the colony get too large or they may crash on you. I routinely prune mine to keep the colony to a prudent size. Sounds like you have a healthy tank. Keep up the good work.

Yep, take the extra to the fish store and trade it in. Great money maker.

They are also great for frag trades...take them to the local clubs and trade them for other coral frags!
