The actual classification is unknown to me, I just know that its a more rare "flat" stylo opposed to the usual knobby thicker stylo. Im working on finding exactly what it is now. It is definately a hard coral. I'll post back when I have the exact name just to put the mystery to rest.
My sylophora had that quality when the plyps were retracted, so if it is stylo, that would be consistant.
