Never had one before and picked up a cool one today...acclimating now.
My question is...how do i position it in the tank...do I bury the back half of it in the sand??

I would always stick the backend into the rocks. Try to find a snug spot so as to hold it in place.

if it doesn't like the spot it will eject from its tube and find a new place

sometimes they will float away build a new tube then a baby will grow from the old tube

Sure thing! My camara isnt that great but its purple and green.
Apparently though my emerald crab thinks I just bought him a $20 snack... Caught him messing with it twice now..

Our feather duster didn't much care for the end of the tube he was using. Stopped coming out and we got worried. Then noticed that it was making the tube longer in the other direction, into the sand. Now it has a sand encrusted tube and is poking out of a new location a few inches back from the original 'end'. Fascinating creatures indeed.
