Raising/maintaing Alk and Calcium

Depending on what the IO alkalinity is, you could just use it as is and then drip kalk nightly at slightly more than needed to safely elevate the numbers in a balanced fashion. The only drawback is, you need to increase/have the same amount of daily evap. As long as you can get the chemistry in the tank balanced, the kalk will raise it properly.
