Any special requirements for the Duncan and mushroom corals? Do I need to supplement them with anything?

Just added to 2 ,1 inch clowns. That is the only stock other than 4 snails and 5 hermits. How long until I can add my goby and 6 line rasse into my 28g.

What is the best CuC for the 28g. Doing a small reef. currently have 2 nasarin snails, 2 turbos, 5 really small hermits.

Do I need to get shells for the hermits? If so, what should I look for?

I don't rally think cucs are very necessary. Pods will do a lot of the work. You could get a couple cerith snails and more hermits if you want tho.

Duncans and mushrooms are pretty hardy. I kept my duncans under a 4 bulb T5HO and they did great. I target fed my duncans, but you do not need to target feed any photosynthetic corals.

Also yes they need larger shells they grow fairly quickly and will kill snails for their shells if there aren't some laying around

Thanks! Great advice! I'll get some more shells. I only have 5 and the are super tiny!
