Random pod explosion?

Last night noticed fish eating. Grabbed flashlight and there were at least a few hundred pod looking things swimming around. Then from a hole on a rock, a couple hundred more blew out. What could it be? Were very small. Looked about size of micro bubbles. They were jerking all around.

Could be. My moon phase was on full. or brighter than normal. It was cool though. I got my wife out of bed to show her. She was not as impressed as i was.
