I've seen/heard of so many folks who have rbta's that have split. I got a beautiful one from slush in fact.

I now have 2 of them and neither has split....and I've had one for over a year and the other for over 2.

What's the scoop with them? Did I get the slow ones?

I've heard they will split when stressed or overfed. I'm not too sure on how you can get them to split naturally.
