My tank has cycled and we have 3 green chromis living and doing well. Water tests show 0 ammo 0 trites and less than 10 trates. LFS says I am ready for some coral now.

I need some advice as to what coral to start with. I want to start inexpensive in the event it doesn't make it.

I don't know where to start.

Any and all advice will be greatly appreciated.

Zooa's (zooanthids), leathers, mushrooms and maybe a candycane? Some of my first corals i got. :)

Can you recommend a cheaper place to get some? My LFS is very over priced

Vivid Aquariums is pretty cheap but the shipping sucks, knockout aquatics has some nice stuff as well not sure about his shipping I go right to the store,

By the time you buy the corals online and the shipping cost it will be most likely the same as your LFS. I would start off with button polyps and mushrooms.
