Red cotton algae?

Have been noticing the cotton reddish algae growing in fuge with other macros should this be removed?

The picture on that thread shows pinkish color,some of the macro in fuge is same looking texture but a maroon color? I guess i need to cull some out off the top of the fuge.dont know near enough of whats good or bad. Was kind of under the impression that any macro algae in fuge would pull nutrients from dt?

leave all algae in the fuge,it all consumes nutrients,sumps aren't supposed to be pretty,its doing its job
