Red planet acro

I bought a red planet acropora coral this weekend. I was wondering how long should it be before I move it up in my tank. I have it low right now. I am running ai sols for lighting.

I left mine on the bottom for a week then moved it up. This is an interesting coral as it has different colors in different light. If you want it completely red give it really high light. In lower light it will be more green.

Yeah mine was too when I got my frag of it 3 months ago. It's now greenish base with red coralites

How high up should I put it

I'd stick it mid level after it's acclimated to the light. Then see what color it turns and go from there

How's the red planet doing? Thought I'd follow up to see if it's changing color yet.

Yeah a little bit it's kind of pale an still green but the red polyps are really coming out now. I'm gonna take a picture of it when I get home
