Red sea nitrate test kit

S this test kit really necessary ??? Just ordered it $40 been using API test kit my nitrates show 0 the API starts at 5 ppm !! Just did a test with the new red sea and it test such a low range 0 to 4 ppm I'm at about 3ppm after 5 days with out a water change 4 ppm come on u can have 10 ppm and have no problems I thought I know u should try to stay as low as poss should I return it ???

Not really sure what you're asking buddy.

Are you saying you should return the kit because it only has a range from 0-4ppm? It's kinda hard to understand with the run on sentences.

I can't believe Red Sea would have a test kit from 0-4ppm though...what would be the point?!

The Red Sea nitrate kit has a low, and high range. Follow the directions to use the high range (10ppm - 80ppm i think). It's basically a dilution of your aquarium water with RODI water.
