Red slime amgae (Cyano)

No I don't think so but I could be wrong. And my snails are fine they always have been and I've had them for months. I make sure everyone in my tank is fed properly.
 
Well I managed to siphon out all the red slime algae and my tank looks so much better. I've also placed a power head directed just a couple inches above the sand to improve circulation on the bottom and seems to do the trick. I also did a pwc, so If that's all I need to do to remove it without adding any chemicals such as chemiclean, then I can handle that!
