So i just got a great deal ($15) on a huge rock covered in zoas at petco. I noticed it has some red slime on 2 of the many many polyps. I read something on red slime algae is it bad and how do I remove it? Its in a dip right now.

Better photo should i remove the polyps affected or will it just die?

That is red slime algae. It is not an infection of the zoas. Petcos have red slime issues due to poor tank care. Simply try to remove the algae by stirring it around in a separate container or water or with a turkey baster.
