Red slime remover?

Through all the threads that involve the dreaded Red Slime, I seldom here the suggestion to use Red Slime remover. I've used this in the past and besides the obvious cost issue( stuffs ridiculous), and ph and o2 shift, that must be compensated for, and of course the overactive skimmer for a few days, it did work. Besides these drawbacks, and there are many, are there other reasons for not using it?

I've used it with great sucess. I think alot of people would like the natural route vs the chemical. lol I had soo much it wasnt ever gonna go away so I went with chemicals. And I haven'[t had an issue since and its been many months.

I found that ChemiClean worked better for me
