Are they really reef safe? Im currently cycling my tank, its a 20 gallon long . When the cycle is over my stocking plan is to get an Ocerallis Clown and a Royal Gramma, some cleaner inverts such as snails and cleaner hermits, and a Coral Banded Shrimp. Later down the road some corals such as star polyps and xenia. Would a small Reef Lobster be possible??

Lobsters of any kind are opportunistic. Although coral is not on the menu, I have personally seen various aquarium lobster species consuming soft corals along with the usual rearranging of corals, rock, and sand. This behavior may be less noticeable in larger aquaria, but could very well wreak havoc in a 20g. Your snails, small fish, and other mobile invertebrates are also possibly to be predated upon. I would not add one to such a small tank, 75g minimum imo.

That's one of those "reef-with cautions". It may eat some of those inverts.

Thanks for the heads up. I dont want to get something that'll munch on my inverts
