Well I have a 20gal long tank that i plan on making a nano reef, is there a starfish that I can get that is reef safe?

I personally believe any novelty starfish will get too large for your tank and there won't be enough food variability available. Asterina starfish only get a 1/2in. or so, very hardy, and common hitchhiker's, but my experience shows that they can adjust their liking to coral tissue. All in all, I wouldn't bother purchasing one.

I personally believe that your tank would be too small for a starfish. It would probably starve for lack of food. They eat microbes in the tank.

Lindsay gave you some good choices. I have some of those in my images if you want to see pics of them.
