Good looking tank. I like how you've centered the reef rather then stacking all the rock to the back. Keep us posted.

Yeah there is more water current this way and also the fish are more active there is less places to hide . Plus the look from the side look awesome.

Mine is doing great with high light and med-high flow. I would probably put it higher off the sand bed. Are the tentacles out yet?
