After all these years of using a hydrometer, I finally gave in and bought a Refractometer. Can someone explain the proper technique for calibrating the thing?

You want to use a calibration fluid to do such, though you can also use your ro/di water to do so as well. You want it to be 0 when this occurs.

Sorry to gate crash.. but you might want to pick up some calibration fluid from somewhere as most refractometers arrive readily calibrated. Like mine currently I need to re-calibrate and would rather use appropriate fluid rather than ro/di water.

Can someone/anyone post links for calibration liquid kits??
