refractor temp calibration?

when calibrating in my instructions it says 2-3 drops of dw at room temp which is 68degrees well tank temp is 78 and the instructions say changs by more than 5 degrees recemend recaibrating? i guess to answer my question should i throw a heater in my 5gallon bucket and raise the tmp to match the tank temp.
