So I've been trying to get my refugium under control and I have been struggling big time lol, I currently have chaeto and caulerpa macro algae in my refugium and the caulerpa is doing ok but the chaeto keeps dying. I don't know what else to do, the only thing growing in my fug is cynobacteria and caulerpa. The chaeto keeps turning white and milky, how can I get my refugium up to a healthy state should I turn the lights off during the day

If you use calerpa then you`ll need to have your lights on 24/7 or opposite you display tank. I ran mine (refuge) 24/7. That white milky stuff is coming from your calerpa.
