Refugium Methodology?

What is the best way to set up a refugium and what would be the best nutrient export?

i'm a noob so don't take my advice too seriously.

You need decent water flow through the fuge(nothing excessive though). Use chaeto algae for nitrate export. It won't go sexual and grows fast. Use a plant growth light or regurlar NO lighting on it. You can add other kinds of algae if Macro algae if you'd like as well. Some people grow pods in their fuge as well. Some live rock wouldn't hurt either. My $0.02

need a little more info on your set up. size, over flow box?, is there room under next too behind?
They make hangon back fuges...
