Reidi Seahorse diet
I am currently feeding my 2 yellow Reidi's a mix of frozen Hikari Mysis and Brine shrimp 2 to 3 times daily, but I am concerned about their nutrient uptake. Is this adequate feeding? Can anyone suggest anything else to feed?
Thanks Karl |

I would continue what you are doing, but be sure to soak the mysis in selcon or a similar vitamin drop supplement.

I quit feeding the Hikari mysis once I started on P.E. Mysis. The P.E. Mysis are whole, are larger, and attract the horses much better.
I also feed them live adult brine shrimp. |

I fully agree that the PE Mysis are a better shrimp. Unfortunately, availability is a big issue where I live. One fish store carried it within a 200 mile radius and they closed down a couple of years ago. If you can find it, buy it. It is a much cleaner, healthier shrimp. It is also larger than most others.
