Remora Pro/Mag 3/prefilter bubbles everywhere

hey guys my remora pro HOT skimmer is connected to the prefilter, and it has a sponge that is supposed to stop the bubbles, but it is not working very well. I added more sponge, and it has cut down on the bubbles escaping. I was wondering if anyone has had the same problem, and if anyone has a solution. TIA

How long has it been in use? It may just need some break-in time.

I will stop after a few weeks to a month. The skimmer just needs to slime up.
