Rescue corals

So I went to my LFS and asked about a few half bleached corals they had thrown in a refugium and they sold them to me for $2 each. One is a orange birdsnest and the other is a purple acropora. Approx half the frag of the birdsnest is bleached and about 3/5 of the acro is dead and turned green. Is there anything special that should be done to try to fix them or should I just keep the water as clean as possible?

Pristine and stable parameters. That's all you can really do. The acro might already be too far gone, but can still try.

Yeah, I figured it probably wouldn't survive but for $2 it was worth a try.

If it recovers, totally agreed. I've used glue to stop recession on my sps before. That is a last chance sort of deal though.

You mean marine snow? The food? That won't do much as this is an issue that needs to be solved with good lighting and stable parameters.

I meant just for when you buy dying corals, it helps them jump back

Well, at least I have plenty of both of those. I've never tried an sps before though so I don't know how well it'll work out.
