Responce to activated carbon thread.

Thanks for the info loganj. I must say activated carbon really helped me out once. I sprayed my floors for fleas and apparently some of the airborne pesticide got in my tank. I did loose a pair of cleaner shrimp,flame angel and a coral beauty angel, however by changing the carbon in my filter every two days I was able to get the poison out of my water with out any other loss.

Thanks for posting that.

Your post both told about things to be cautious about like airborne pesticides. And also ways to help protect your tank from them or was to remove heavy toxins like pesticides.
