Hello everyone, so I'm in the process of moving my tank that's in direct sunlight ( I know stupid move) to another location in my room. What I wanted to do since I'm moving the tank was to clean it out. (Filters, skimmer, power heads, and heater) with that being said I was thinking about cleaning all the nuisance algae and putting a new sand bed. Anybody have any thoughts and what to do with my 2 clowns and wrasse and corals in the mean time? I have a 10 gallon tank as a spare that's empty. All ideas welcomed please help!

It’s been 5 days since you posted this question and no one has responded. Hmmmm!

From what you posted, if it were me, I would make a transfer to the ten gallon and do your thorough cleaning, if that’s your goal. Be aware that you will likely have a cycle when the “clean” tank is set back up.
