Ricordia question

I saw something stringy coming out from the center of my Ricordia the other day. It was dark in color and whispy. Anyone know what that was?

It was probably just expelling wastes. There's only one way in and out and that's the mouth at the center, just like anemones.

I agree. If it still looks healthy it was just waste. Corals can also sometimes expel excess zooxanthellea, but doesn't mean they are unhealthy.

I agree with that. If anything happens that the ricordeas dont like, they will do that from time to time. Had some yumas do that last night when I moved them.
