ro

trying to hook up a water canister to my ro unit !! at the bottom of the canister there is an air valve how much air pressure should be put in it ?? any ideas?? this canister is from an older unit so no instructions !! also it a metal container will this effect the water in any way??

also does anyone know why is di water bad to drink??

Nonsense,,, no worse than drinking distilled water...Not bad at all, just utterly tasteless...

why would kent state not to drink it ?? and if i wanted to drink the water they sell a splitter to get water after the ro but before the di filter

DI and distilled water are said to draw minerals and vitamins out of your body.

If you're on some kind of detox for a while it works for that but on a long term basis it would be working against you.

That is why it is said to be bad.

of course there are always 2 sides to this.

DI water is also said to be an agressive solvent. supposedly.

so do ya think that if ya did want to drink it mabe just adding some type of vitamins to it then it be good ?

Acutally i think we have an article in our articles area that debunks that myth about drawing minerals out of the body. A member posted a question to many 'experts' in the water field and they compiled all the responses and posted them.

I drink it and have for years. I even give it to our cats (only because my storage container is in the basment right next to the cats water dish).

what i thought as well but wasnt sure and the bitter half is prego and told her it be better for her so she didnt yell to much for spending the cash untill she read that it wasnt good
