If I use RO/DI water, add Instant Ocean to it as recommended, will my PH be right where it needs to be? Coming from the freshwater team, PH was always something I had to screw with as local tap water (non RO water) PH is quite high.

Thanks,
Kurt

Most salts should bring the pH to around 8.2.. but as darb2 said always check it.

FWIW, the salt will also add all the necessary trace elements so don't listen to any LFS that tries to sell you some kind of electrolyte replenisher for your RO/DI water.

Oh, so I don't need to add that RO replenisher. Great, that'll save me some money. My wife thanks you.

Thanks for the help,
Kurt
