Ro/Di checking

How do i check my ro membrain to make sure if its good? I have a Kent maxima 60 gpd hi-s. iv been having problems with some hair allege.And other brown allege. Ive replaced all other filters about a month ago. Is having a filter with a hi-s nessary?

Test your RO water for PO4.
They also (you LFS may have one) meters that will test your TDS and will give you a general measure of water quality.

The only thing with a TDS meter is it measures total disolved solids...... Are they good or bag that is the question......
I run my DI till I get a TDS in the high teens then I change them out.....
Membranes can last up to 3 years.. how old is the unit.
You only have a RO unit??? if so it may not be removing all the bad stuff from the water..
