RO Filter Advice

I'm thinking about buying an RO filter so I don't have to go buy it from a stupid vending machine anymore.

1) Where should I look to buy one?
2) What features should I be looking for?
3) How much money should I be expecting to spend?
4) Any other info or suggestions?
