A friend uses my tanks a dumping ground for unwanted crabs, snails, corals, fish and now a rock anemone. I am thinking it is an epicystis but am not 100% sure. He has it in a 12 gallon tank now with a 70w metal halide over it. I would like to put it in my 55 gallon with t5's but am concerned about its health, the tank is only 3 months old but has been stable. I do have another option and that is put it in a 24 gallon cube with 150w metal halide.
Which light is better for it?
Does it do best in the sand bed?
Hpw do you tell when it is hungry?

If you can't find an lfs to take it, put it in the 24 for now.
Don't feed it. Normal tank feeding along with lots of light are all it needs.
How many T5's do you have? If you have 6 or more the anemone may do find in the 55.

The rock nem needs less light than most. The sand bed is a good place for it. It does not wander like BTA's.

The t5 is only 4 bulbs. I guess he is going to find another home as soon as I can find one.
