I collected a bunch of small dead rocks out of the bahamas an was wondering if i can just introduce them to my aquarium as is or should i treat them somehow? Iodine dip? Also, i wanted to use them as a base for acro frags, should i wait until they are live or is it ok to use them immediately?

You could just put them in your tank BUT there could be some dead stuff in it so you may want to cure it in a bucket for a couple weeks.

Be careful I would still QT because some eggs can last quite awhile out of the water along with other pests.

+1 on quarintine never know what type of parasite could possibly be in the rock

I`ve always heard that boiling them in water is the way to go. Curing them in a bucket will allow the nitrifying bacteria to colonize on the rock which is a good thing.
