safe for tank ???

can anyone tell me if polyps & mushrooms will be safe with my dwarf lemmonpeel angel ??? i may be getting some new lighting from "SANTA" and thinking , maybe !!!!

With angels its a hit or miss type of thing. Some will nip at them and some won't. I've had two angels, a flame and a bicolor. Both nipped at my corals. Other people on this site that have had angels for years without any problems in their reefs.

Agreed. Mixing angelfish with corals is always a gamble.

I have a flame in QT that I plan to test with a few coral frags. Is there any one type they prefer? softies, clams, acros...?

I had to get rid of my two angels (coral beauty and Keyhole) for destroying a couple of my corals. They only went after the fleshy type corals like brain corals and hammer corals. The bad part is I had them about 4 yrs before they went beserk.

That's the part I always worry about.
Just because they get along fine in the beginning doesn't mean that you won't come home someday to an unwelcome surprise.
So far my coral beauty has ignored all my corals... (knock on wood)
