I have a 75 with a 40 sump I'm figuring I have a total volume of around 90 gallons. My question is I lose about 2-3 gal every couple days and salinity doesn't seem to change. I am using a BRS refractometer calibrated with the calibration fluid that came with it. Is this normal not to see a big rise with that amount of evaporation?

I check it before I top it back off with straight ro/di water and even after i wait half an hour or so and recheck it doesn't seem like it is any lower. I even checked it with my old hydrometer (which I know are not the most reliable) today and got pretty close to the same readings before and after top off
